About Atelier
We are among the finest specialists in Russia:
guests come to us for craft and for personal work with each of them.
In the trade, “atelier” means the master's own workshop. Craft is at our centre, and the work is always individual, shaped around one particular person. We do not chase showy luxury: value comes not from the surroundings but from the hands, the knowledge and the experience of the stylist.
Love of the craft means listening to a guest, looking after her and helping her feel beautiful. You get experience, service, craft and a result, all at once.
Founders
Aleksandra Koverzneva
Manicure and pedicure • founder
- Has worked in nail care since 1999. She has competed professionally from her first years in the trade and keeps studying.
- Prize winner at London Nailympics and Nailympia London Online; in 2024 she took first place at Nail Battle.
- Studied pedicure and podology in Germany and graduated from the IDS international design school in 2019. She judges international nail championships.
- Trainer in modern manicure technique in St Petersburg and the North West: she teaches the city's own specialists.
- Values precision: she offers only the treatments that are genuinely needed, and nothing beyond them.
Elena Leshanu
Hair stylist • founder
- Has worked as a hair stylist since 2000.
- Trained one to one in London with Brett Macdonald and with Kien Hoang, global art director of Oribe.
- Prepared collections with Nicolas Jurnjack, art director of Vogue Australia, and worked as a stylist at Etro shows.
- Today she teaches the city's own specialists. Values the agreement: she settles the result before starting and keeps to it.
Our story
- 011999–2000
Aleksandra came into nail care in 1999; Elena started as a hair stylist in 2000. For a while we worked together in one of the leading salons in St Petersburg: our shared story began long before Atelier.
- 022000–2026
We honed the craft, competed professionally and travelled to study abroad, and then moved into teaching ourselves. Today we teach the city's own specialists.
- 032026
Still learning, in April 2026 we opened a project of our own, Atelier. We built the team from strong specialists whose work we had seen ourselves and whom we trust.
